On wearing it: the standard pattern is overnight + 2-3 hours during the day. Build up gradually with shorter intervals during the day first rather than going straight to overnights, that helps the soft tissue adjust. Most folks find the early phase is the hardest part, and it gets significantly easier after a few weeks.
On early discomfort: pretty common in the first few weeks. Sore teeth, achy gums, occasional small sores in the mouth, the lips not closing fully, extra saliva, all signs the soft tissue is stretching, not signs something is wrong. Take it at your own pace, and if the soreness gets sharp, take a short break, a few hours or even a day or two off is fine. Stick with it, but don't push through pain.
On accelerating results: what matters most is consistent use, then stretching to accelerate. We recommend simple daily stretches like the Bite & Hold exercise that works alongside the mouthguard.
On mouth taping: a lot of folks tape at night to keep the mouth closed and help with guard retention while the tissue is still adjusting. Pairs well with the Reviv.
